Mr Nolan has become an institution in himself with the masterpieces he has churned out over his cinematic career. In honour of this visionary filmmaker, lets play a quiz.

Watched The Lobster and was curious to hear other people's interpretations of it! It has a ton of symbolism; not surprising given that the director/screenwriter is Greek. In interviews, he doesn't like to dig deep into interpretations so I figured this would be a good place to do that.
The overarching theme is critical, mocking society for vilifying singlehood, framing dating preferences as warring camps, etc. But I didn't really get a lot of the rest, like the daily hunts, blindness, digging graves, etc. Anyone else who's seen it?
Digging graves: The focus was on digging your grave yourself, in the sense that when you're single, your 'friends' won't even chip in for that. You do everything by yourself.
Blindness: If you're talking about the ending where ...
Sci-Fi movies as a genre as always intrigued me and has always spoken about the vast possibilities of what Science can deliver in times to come, so keeping this view in mind, lets take a jump into the list:
1) Project Almanac (2015)- An MIT hopeful stumbles upon a Time-Travelling device from his father's vault and from then on its a roller-coaster ride for this gang of young teens. The movie will make you surely question yourself; "When do we stop?"
2) Predestination (2014)- What happens when you cannot escape destiny? What happens if destiny locks you in a vicious cycle of your fate and you just play a small role in aiding the final outcome? Check this movie to get your answers and have your mind BLOWN.
3) Chronicle (2012)- Truly well said- "With great power, comes great responsibility"! This movie is more far-fetched in execution, but has that documentary feel to it, and its because of this perspective that the movie scores well. A great watch, if you like humans become meta-humans.
4) Snowpiercer (2013)- More like a modern political ...
Crazy news this past week in regards to The Batman solo movie. First we have Matt Reeves (Director) confirming Ben Affleck being The Batman (after all the rumours of Mr Affleck stepping down), and now we have fresh news drop about the actual background of the movie.
The Batman solo movie is going to adopt a very dark premise and will also take Batman "back" into his comfort zone, and that is being a (The World's Greatest) Detective. Now this will actually take Batman back to his "Detective Comics" roots and this will just be very exciting for hardcore comic book fans in general and also introduce the true side of the Caped Crusader to the new fans as well.
We can just wait for some very challenging villains and have the Dark Knight going berserk, and serving justice to the criminals of Gotham.
Poll- Which major inclusion would you want more to be included in the film?
Quite psyched for this. Batman is already a very dark character and making it more dark will allow for more creativity, more scope and more room-for-madness w.r.t exploration of The Batman.
This week at Commonlounge we will focus heavily on the upcoming Justice League movie and dwell on the allies of The Dark Knight and their individual weapon mechanism. Lets begin:-
Can Aquaman fly in this? 😂 Jokes apart, I feel the league looks quite polished and the tension between them is also a bit visible. Agree with your views
One of machine learning's most popular application is to pro-sports. And a lot of people who are into sports love looking at the player statistics. This movie is the story of how the Oakland's baseball team in 2002 completely overhauled their approach to select the team using numbers against the advice of the experienced scouts. They changed the game of baseball forever, for the better!
