Batman has a new game? Arkham: Insurgency (Rumored)
After the epic saga created by Rocksteady Studios in the name of the Arkham Trilogy, its been noticed that The Dark Knight might just be making a comeback to consoles & PC with a new game, reportedly rumoured as "Arkham: Insurgency".
The game has been rumoured since February 2017, but with very solid leaks (at least on paper), & if the rumours are anything to go by, yes, we are finally getting rid of the Batmobile/tank.
I hope WB Montreal matches up to the legacy created by Rocksteady Studios & gives Batman the game "he deserves"; and the game "we need"
So its finally official, there are no games connected to Batman in the pipeline. This news has been confirmed by Mr Kevin Conroy himself in a recent interview.
“I can’t believe that they’re not going to do another one, but they’re not. Isn’t that amazing?,” Conroy told a fan at Wizard World Nashville over the weekend. “They made literally billions of dollars on those games, but no, there’s no plan to do another one. Sorry.”
This comes as extremely sad news, because a reboot would have been just awesome to the Arkham games with so many levels of amazing AAA game titles on the horizon & this generation could have done with an Arkham universe reboot.
Maybe WB is going the route of "Batman: Arkham Knight" and might just reboot the series in the next console generation cycle (which should not be very far away).
