Would you like to create courses with us?by Anant Jain
Courses on Commonlounge contain crisp, short tutorials and offer a unique way to quickly learn a topic online, for free, at your own pace. Most of the courses we have published so far have been on very technical/niche topics, but we want to move into slightly more mainstream topics.
We are looking for collaborators to help us create some of the best courses on the hottest topics that people want to learn today. It's usually a great fit if you yourself are somewhat interested in the topic and want to dive deeper! We already have a lot of resources in the form of external links on these topics, but need your help in boiling them down to their very essence.
Goes without saying, but you will retain credit for any content you write here — in fact, our articles have a "Wiki with credit" format where anyone can come and improve/update the articles, and our system calculates and assigns credit appropriately. (See example here: An Almost-working Decentralized Ledger)

What new communities would you like to see here?by Anant Jain
Is there a community you wished that was here so that you could bring others and discuss stuff with them in it?
What kind of content do you find debating with others on other platforms like Twitter or reddit? As for me, I always felt those platforms aren't just cut out to engender a decent discussion and with Commonlounge, we are hoping to build just the place where you can talk to more than just your friends, in a civil setting.
Add a reply below and we will get you set up right away!
Commonlounge is one of the best resources for absolute beginners to get started with coding and build their own websites and small apps. We're also a great resource to master highly technical topics like Machine Learning, Data Science and Competitive Programming.
Given this wide range of expertise levels across which our content is available, it's often confusing for beginners to know where to start. So, we built Paths to help you with exactly that!
What are Paths?
Paths on Commonlounge are a personalized learning plan created just for you based on your goals and current skill levels. They are collections of courses that can be followed in order. Want to see what a sample path looks like? Here's the complete Web Development Path.
Our most engaged communities are purpose-driven and lists are an effective tool to get things done — and though our users have beenmakinglists for a while on Commonlounge, we felt we could do better and made native Lists into the product.
Lists are a way for you to make public collections so that you can track your progress over time, as well as subscribe and set email reminders to get you back to them at a frequency of your choice. Check out our first few Lists here:
