There is a plethora of resources on the web for Competitive Programming. So why choose this community?
Best content from the web
Our focus here is to curate the best resources available online. Sometimes the best available explanation is on TopCoder, sometimes its on CodeChef, sometimes its a blog post written by a participant, and sometimes (best of all) there's a really cool video on YouTube! Using the simplest explanation can save a ton of time, and can lead to a better understanding of the concept.
Continually improving
This is implied by the above. Since most things here are simply a curation, when a better video or a better tutorial is written by someone, we replace the old one.
Intuition, simplicity and fun
We will focus on choosing content that gives the intuition, and helps you visualize the algorithm. A picture is worth a thousand words, and an animation is worth a million.
Solutions are given one hint at a time
Good problems are rare, and looking up the full solution to a problem when you are not able to solve them is a waste. We write the solution divided into many many hints, so that you can take a small hint and go back to solving the problem.
Amazing moderators and contributors
An incomplete list of people (in no particular order) who I expect to be active in this community is as follows - Anudeep Nekkanti, Arjun Arul, Malvika Joshi, Keshav Dhandhania. These are people who have won medals at IOI, coached at the IOI training camp and been on the top-charts on platforms like TopCoder, Codeforces and CodeChef. I'll keep updating this list as more people join the community.
Suggestions and Feedback
If you have suggestions or feedback on what we could do to make this community better, add a post below. Also, let us know if you really like something about the community but I have not mentioned it above.
