Greetings everyone. I have almost literally fallen out of bed and landed in a new ML application opportunity which mandates that I actually learn this rather intimidating field.
I have read a few chapters of the book (in small doses because, as well as it is written it can still make one dizzy very quickly).
My one question so far is that I need to focus on correlation learning. For example my training data shows that extra purchases of ice skates in Moscow means more hospitals will treat broken arms in the next few months.
What chapters of the book are the best for this type of learning and are there other approaches the book does not cover that would work well for this type of app.
Thanks
