We live in the SoMA district, and we get a daily view of all the construction that's been going on in the district. One of the towers we've continually been fascinated by is the Salesforce Tower and the speed with which it's been rising.
Here's a picture of the city skyline I took in March when we just moved here:

It seems that the Salesforce Tower has reached 50 floors out of 61 - so given their progress rate so far, I presume it'll take them no longer than 6 weeks from now to top the tower off. At that time, it'll become the tallest building in SF, displacing the Transamerica Pyramid.
