I think adding tags to replies can be really tedious/cumbersome. I'm not sure how widely used it is, but I feel my user experience would be better without it. Most of the time I have no idea which tag to even add, so I click some random one which isn't at least complete nonsense in the context of my comment, and it adds friction to the whole process of contributing to CL.
