Hi everyone! I'm Joel Califa — I make people happy with delightful and intuitive product design. I build teams, refine strategies, design products, and code things. I've been at it for over 16 years now — since Photoshop 5.5, table-based layouts, Internet Explorer 5.

Currently I'm a Senior Product Designer at Github where I'm crafting better developer workflows for over 20 million engineers. Prior to this, I led Product Design at DigitalOcean, built social outreach tools at Amicus and worked with some clients and friends.
