I was actually starting to believe that the host were awakening until the predictable started happening.
Maeve gets to the station just to be slipped a note by Felix telling her where her daughter is. Sigh! She gets onto the train and there is a mother and daughter sitting right near here. Sigh! At the last second she gets out of the train. Sigh! Sigh! Sigh! Bernard was right but Maeve bought into it all only to be steered back into her place.
Same with the events at the Gala, before the shooting begins Bernard whispers "these violent delights..." Its pretty obvious that Ford has duped all the hosts and all the humans into believing they are in control of what happens at Delos which makes Ford unstoppable.
The finale seems pretty closed off. I can't imagine what Season 2 could offer. This was satisfying in that all pertinent questions were answered and we were given enough information that we can imagine what happened to WestWorld once we faded to black. The omage to the movie where all the technicians get trapped in the control room was cool.
