It's going to be a week that i'm writting to you and having no answer.
Good morning Sir,
Please i would like to know hoz i can handle this project properly. I followed all the instructions step by steps, i took all my time. But there are some commands that don't work on my computer, I dont knoz if you can provide me a mentor who can follow me please.
Here are where i'm stuck.
1) since the previous chapter, when I run the command python manage.py makemigrations, from my virtual environment, it throws me so many error messages, i sent you a screenshot at the end of the previous chapter and since it can't resolve it, i can't run the server.
2) when I have to run my psql command, i have first to be in the Postgre folder, else, it doesn't work, and even when i run it it request me a password and when i enter the same password i entered when checking the succesfull installation of Postgre, it sends me FatalError message, I've entered all the commands that are in the tutorial, i've even changed the password, but it still sends the FatalError message.
3) in this chapter i always have to be in the C:\Pro...
Or maybe you can just provide some tips and intermediate steps on how i can handle this chapter properly, even if it will request me to restart all from the beginning.
i'm looking foreward hearing from you.
Good morning Sir,
Please i'm a bit stuck since few days, i've tried to handle this issue by myself but finally i come back to you.
i've followed step by step the tips to install all the features and packages in this course but i still have some problems.
First, when i call psql for example on my prompt, of course it requests me a password but when i enter that password, the same i entered when i was checking PostgreSQL installation , it sends me this fatal error message.
At the section on creationg a URL the code shown above doesn't work, i mean this one.
path('', views.post_list, name='post_list'),path('post//', views.post_detail, name='post_detail'),path('post/new/', views.post_new, name='post_new'),]
It throws some Error and NotFound Page messages. Instead of that one, someone should better tries this one, it works perfectly.
path('', views.post_list, name='post_list'),
path('post/<int:pk>/', views.post_detail, name='post_detail'),
path('post/new/', views.post_new, name='post_new'),
path('post/<int:pk>/edit/', views.post_edit, name='post_edit'),
There was a small mistake in that line, i've checked it out, the right code to enter in my urls.py file, the one in blog directory is this one.
from django.urls import include, path
from django.contrib import admin
urlpatterns = [
This one works perfectly.
You can just update.
